3. Classroom Highlights

English

 

We have been focusing on the "Room on the broom" book from Julia Donaldson. The children have developed a retelling text from the beginning,  going from describing the with (using many fun adjectives) through planning the text. 

 

 

Maths


We have continued to follow White Rose and this term's topic has been place value. The children have learn thanks to a combination of practical and worksheet based lessons. 

 

 

Science

 

The children have enjoyed their "Living things and their habitats" unit, demonstrating their understanding of  what living things need to live.
