Science Investigations

We have been focusing on some science investigations this term; we firstly decided to test the best conditions for mould. We chose 4 different places to put a piece of bread and watch the mould grow - these were one wet and dry piece; 2 dry pieces placed in the light and the dark.

We then moved on to looking at electricity and how circuits worked. We looked at the different amount cells and bulbs and what this does to effect the brightness and voltage. We also had to try and fix circuits that had problems within them.

Here are our some pictures of our results and investigations.

Science Week

We have celebrated National Science Week by taking part in the Upper KS2 lesson of investigating bubble mixture. The theme of this year is 'Curiosity: What's your question?' Our question was 'What makes the best bubble mixture?' We had a tray of control mixture where everything was in the mixture as you would expect, one had extra soap, one had extra glycerin and the other extra water

Storytelling Week

We have celebrated National Storytelling Week with a range of activities. We have created our own stories and told them (not read) to each others. We brought them to life with props, expression and gestures.
