3S

Welcome to 3S!

Monday - PE, children should come dressed in PE kit

Friday - Homework, homework is given out every Friday and should be returned by the following Friday

Reading books - Children with AR books should be reading at least twice a week. They can do their test at home, or there is time for them to compete a test in the morning at school

Basic knowledge - Please practice your children's spellings and times tables at home daily, it is important that they are progressing with these. They are practiced every morning in class.

This half term we have been learning all about the body. We have learnt about the skeleton and the muscles and we have been think about healthy eating and a balanced diet. We created a protective structure for a tea cake (the brain) we had to think about how we could protect it from damage (please see below for photos).

In maths we have been thinking about place value (hundreds, tens and ones).

Science - Protecting the brain

Maths - Place Value
