ICT:

We have spent the beginning of October investigating and exploring all the different types of e-learning that we have access to via school.  We have become familiar logging in to and using  a number of different apps:

                       - Google Classroom

                        -Blogging

                        - School's child friendly email system

                        - Bug Club

                        - TT Rockstars

                        - ARA

We have also explored a number of educational websites that we may use as part of our blended/ remote learning strategy.  The Q cards for these websites are below.

I am currently, uploading and creating each child's individual log in card which will come home (when finalised) and will be available via the school office if misplaced by your child when/if needed.

The children have shown their resilience as we  softly 'assessed' our learning starting points for the core subjects.  It was explained to the children that this will allow us to ensure that we accurately teach from their starting points so that they confidently make the best progress.

Remote Learning Q Card Codes

Welcome 4L.

I am very happy to be your teacher over the coming year.  I am very excited about the Recovery Curriuculum we are using in School.  Over the next few weeks examples of our work will appear under the 'Here We Are' tab within this page.

We are currently ensuring the children feel settled, happy and familiar with the current new school routines.  Once we are confident that the children are ready we will begin to add more structure and ask for parental support in ensuring structure at home with regards to homework, basic knowledge and reading.

We thank you for your help over the last few months and if you would like to clarify or discuss anything please contact the office to arrange a phone-call between myself and you.

Many thanks for your time and patience.

Miss Lockyer
