Medical Policy & Procedures

The aim of this policy is to enable regular attendance at school and it is written following statutory guidance from the Department For Education [April 2014], ‘Supporting Pupils at School with Medical Conditions’- Legislation- Children and Families act 2014 section 100

Any queries in relation to its contents should be addressed, in the first instance, to Mrs Karen Hirst or Ms Josephine Walters as Medical Needs Coordinators and then Ms Nicola Fagan [Assistant Headteacher/Inclusion]. The governor with responsibility for medical needs in the school is Dame Anna Hassan DBE.
