Yellow Day

We started our day discussing why we were all wearing yellow and how the colour yellow can make us feel brighter and happy inside.  We then helped Miss Lockyer sort different parts of her day into 3 different types of emotion – feeling happy, feeling okay, feeling that things are hard.  We helped Miss Lockyer move to a more positive frame of mind by using our words.  We then wrote down the different things that we said to help Miss Lockyer and our friends to keep positive.  Lastly we all danced to one of Miss Lockyer’s favourite songs ‘let the sillies out’ as being silly helps us all to stay positive and happy.
