PSHE for Year 1, Summer 1

Little Things Make a Big Difference

Children should watch the films: ‘A Whale’s Tale’ and ‘Balloon Girl’ via the following link:   https://www.hopeworksproject.com/films/

before starting either of the activities.

The films link to the curriculum in the following ways:

  • A Whale’s Tale links to PSHE curriculum for knowledge of Sustainable Development: Citizenship and British Values.
  • Balloon Girl forms part of the PSHE Relationships education for emotional health and self-awareness.

Once the short film has been viewed.  Go to the document links below and scroll down to the Home Learning version of the lesson.  This will give you the guidelines for discussion and activities.  I hope you enjoy them.

I hope you are all well and keeping safe,

From Mrs Gough smiley
