Journey update: 11:18am

All the children turned up on time so we managed to board the coach at 7:30am as planned. On the journey we spotted a rainbow and managed to get a couple of truck drivers to honk their horns for us. We stopped for lunch and are now on the second part of our journey to Trewern.

2:30pm

All arrived safely. We have already seen different animals on our journey and some beautiful scenery. The sun keeps popping out every so often.

5:30pm

We have unpacked our suitcases and settled into our rooms. We have also completed our first activity which involved exploring the grounds looking for locations based on some photos. It wasn't as easy as it sounded.

After dinner, we went for a local walk in the dark. With just one torch for each group we navigated our way around the local area and noticed how different it was to back home. It was quiet and dark. You could see the stars clearly and could heard the nearby river. We popped into the local church that is open throughout the night.
