Animal Workshop

We had a brilliant morning finding out about the different animals. We were able to handle them too smiley  The adults were impressed with our knowledge about the different animal groups and their diets.

Hello Yellow Day

Thank you for all of your donations to Young Minds.

Visit to Dagenham Parish Church

We have been learning about Christianity in R.E. We visited Dagenham Parish Church and was able to explore the building. Mr Edwards the Vicar and his helpers were kind and told us lots of facts about Christianity and the Church.

English

We have been reading 'Who Lives here?' we went on a Nature Hunt around the school grounds to help us get ideas for our writing. We loved exploring!

Animal Classification

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been learning to classify animals into groups: mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, fish and insects.

We have been describing and identifying the key differences between the groups.

We worked in small groups to sort the animals into the correct groups. We spoke about why we were putting each animal into a group.

We enjoyed listening to this song 😊
