1.  Welcome to the Year Group!

We are year 4.  Our teachers are Mrs Robinson (4R) and Miss Lockyer (4L) and our teaching assistant is Mrs Jackson.  We are a fun, kind community who enjoy working together, exploring our learning and working as a team.

We hope you enjoy looking at our website pages and please come and talk to us about our learning.

We are currently reading 'The Iron Man' and exploring its language and meaning through discussion so that we have the understanding to be able to create our own news reports after learning the relevant skills.

Maths

We are finishing learning about informal written methods that involve multiplication and division.

Geography

5.  Wellbeing Champions and School Councillors:

At our school we feel it is important for pupils to have a whole school voice and responsibilities.

We do this by electing two members per class to represent our year at the School Council and 4 pupils to per class to be wellbeing champions.

School Council members represent their classmates and share ideas about school life. They take part in meetings, help make decisions, and feedback information to their peers. Through this role, children develop confidence, responsibility, and teamwork skills while helping to make positive changes in their school.

4L:  Sheniyah and Julian

4R:  Sophia and Yaseen

Wellbeing Champions help support their peers by promoting kindness, inclusion, and positive mental health across the school. They listen to others, offer encouragement, and help share important wellbeing messages, while developing empathy, responsibility, and leadership skills.
