And we are off! Some stressful packing and goodbyes had.

The kids have been amazing this week and it has been a pleasure spending my last week at Leys with these guys. Thank you to all parents and careers for giving your children this opportunity to go they have learnt so much and I cannot wait for them to tell you all about it!
13:30- we have arrived at reading services having some lunch.
Our ETA is 16:15 pm currently. This could change depending on traffic but will keep you all updated through the website and text from the office

On our coach ride home, the kids shared some quotes about the experiences they had this week and some advice for the next year 6s to head to Trewern.
Johnny: "Always believe in yourself and never give up!"
Hasan: "One wise man once said, never judge a book by its cover. Trewern was really fun and amazing. it may look scary at first but when you get the hang of it, you'll love it"
Edward: "Never say you cant do something until you try it"
Sofiu: "Don't say you don't want to do it before you try it. I loved caving, we had to try to fit through small spaces.
Sofia: "Try everything and work as a team"
Poppy: "During the time i've spent in Trewern I have to try new things and to get out of my comfort zone. This has taught me to always have a go or you'll miss all the fun things in life"
Elliana: "Through the week at Trewern, I have experienced very challenging obstacles but concurred them, as I had friends and staff to help me try my best"
Millie-Rae: "Trewern is a great place to expand your confidence"
Eliana: "I have learnt to keep trying and never give up. I now know how to communicate better with my team mates"
Nevin: "Trewern can be tough, especially caving but in times like this you have to give it your all"
Kareem: "Trewern was a beautiful experience. We got to learn how to do caving, Gorge walking and to row a canoe. Trewern has been great"
Amalia: "I got to do canoeing, I loved it. I had to best time"
Rumaysa: "You are probably thinking do you want to go to Trewern right? well I went and i'm not going to lie it was the BEST!
I have some tips:
1. Never ever give up
2. Believe in yourself
3. Don't judge a book by its cover
4. Have fun!!
Zoya: "Never give up because every step helps your journey. And when you reach the end you can start again"
Cruiz: "Don't miss out on this great adventure. I didn't know we could do things like caving, going through tight spaces and Gorge walking"
Tommy: "Trewern was a once in a lifetime experience. I got to do things that I never thought i would be able to do in my life"
Damilola: "Coming to Trewern has gotten my out of my comfort zone and has made me overcome many fears"
Tomilola: "I loved coming to Trewern because I did things that I never thought could do and got out of comfort zone"
Ava: "Trewern is really good for teaching independence. The instructors are so nice and great at teaching us"
Daniella: "At Trewern I did canoeing. I learnt how to control the canoe and to make turns"
Daniel: "I loved caving because I had to go through small spaces and overcome my fears"
Milan: "You could get stuck in something but there will always be people to help you. i have enjoyed all of the activities, especially the night activities because it was fun doing things in the dark"
Adam: "Coming to Trewern has made me more independent"
Keziah: "The Gorge walking was really fun. The water was cold but we slid down rocks which was really exciting"
Lucy: "Trewern is a once in a lifetime experience. Yes, somethings may be scary and out of your comfort zone but try it anyways. The staff here are amazing and so welcoming, they make you feel at home. The activities here are incredible but remember to pack extra socks! Thank you for letting us go"
Mr Board: "Always look on the bright side of life and never say never. You can do anything If you put your mind to it"
Mr Alin: "When you reach the top and you think the journey has ended, you discover a world of possibilities"
Miss Johnson "These children have been absolutely incredible! I am beyond proud of everything they have achieved this week! Parents, these guys are a credit to you and I am sure you are all so proud of them! We would all like to say a massive thank you to all the amazing staff in Trewern, especially Justin, Steve, Mark and Stephen for taking the time to get to know and understand these children and being able to create a program that has really pushed them and help them to understand their power! Well done to all of you spectacular children!!"
