Reading

The stories we have enjoyed reading are:

A Quiet Night In by Jill Murphy

Owl Babies by Martin Waddell

Anna Hibiscus' Song by Atinuke

Handa's Surprise by Eileen Browne

We have explored the stories using our senses through sensory stories.  We have completed matching tasks, built sentences using colourful semantics, and labelled the characters from each story.  We have also engaged in a role playing each story, wearing masks to act out some of the characters and using props.
