6. Trips and Special Events

This week, the children have taken part in a wonderful range of whole‑school workshops and activities. During the Ganda Boys workshop, pupils learned about African culture and were inspired by the group’s powerful message, “You are, therefore I am.” The children loved listening to the music and even joined in with a traditional African dance.
They also took part in an NSPCC workshop, where they learned important strategies for keeping themselves safe.
To top it all off, our pupils competed in an NSPCC TT Rockstars inter‑schools competition—and we are incredibly proud to share that, out of thousands of participating schools, we finished within the top one hundred!
It has been an exciting and enriching week for everyone.
