Summer Term

Summer Term

Our curriculum topic for Summer Term is Independence.  We have been focusing on communication and turn taking skills with our teachers and our peers.

In Self-Help lessons, we have been learning about different emotions through using the Zones of Regulation tool.  It uses colours to help us identify and categorise the feelings to their colours.

In Drama lessons, we have been developing our imaginative play skills through a variety of role play activities.  For example, washing up using the toy sink, cooking and serving using the toy kitchen, and shopping using the toy supermarket.
