SEN School Information Report

As part of the new Code of Practice [2014], every school is required to publish their provision for Special Educational Needs. Outlined in the report above is the provision for pupils and families at Leys Primary School.

 

The Leys Primary is a two form entry school offering 52 Nursery and 420 full time places. The school has an inclusive ethos built on valuing differences, mutual respect and caring for one another. Our school creed encourages us all to have the resilience to be the best that we can be, along with an aspiration to succeed.

 

Our Nursery and Reception classes provide a spacious and stimulating internal and external environment for the children. Key stage 1 has four classrooms and Key stage 2, eight classrooms all on the same level. There has been substantial improvement to both the indoor and outdoor environment of the school over the past few years, including the creation of many small ‘intervention rooms’ which have been purposefully created for small groups of children to work in with trained Teacher Assistant support.
