We have looked at today's weather and it is going to be very cold up at the top of the mountain. There has already been some snow. We have now changed our plans because we don't won't to get too cold or miserable on our last daytime activity. It would also be difficult to start our own fires if we were to learn forest skills. Today both groups are going on a walk together to see some waterfalls instead.

Waterfall walk:

We took a long drive past some snowy mountains and went for a walk to see how the weather had affected the waterfalls. The waterfalls were gushing extremely fast and looked very powerful. The ground was very wet and there was also snow on the ground. It was a bit cold at times but the walking warmed us up. We made a steep descent down to the base of a massive waterfall and had hoped that we would be able to go and stand behind it. Sadly though, it had been raining all day and the river was flowing so fast that it would not be safe to experience it. We still managed to enjoy our walk though and chatted to each other.

At the end we started to have a little snowball fight and even threw snowballs at our teachers.

In the evening we had to begin to pack for our return journey but that didn't stop us from squeezing in one last activity. We went to the climbing wall which is on site and had the chance to see if we were able to climb up some climbing walls. It involved a lot of safety gear but it was fun and challenging going up the wall. It was also a big challenge to abseil back down.
